Metal grinding

Metal grinding is one of the most precise machining methods, classified as abrasive machining. Its purpose is to provide surfaces with perfect smoothness, dimensional accuracy, and the required technical parameters — without compromising the material’s structure.

The process involves removing a thin layer of metal from the surface using abrasive tools such as grinding wheels, whetstones, or belts. This allows for achieving very tight dimensional tolerances and exceptional surface quality.

Modern machine park

At TOOLE, metal grinding is performed using machines of Polish, German, and Swiss origin, including those from Jotes, Studer, and Schaudt. Our machine park enables the machining of shafts and bores with diameters ranging from 3 to 300 mm, as well as the grinding of flat and ring-shaped surfaces.

Scope of our services

We grind all types of materials — tool and structural steels, non-ferrous metal alloys (bronze, aluminum, brass), stainless and heat-resistant steels, as well as technical plastics.

Our services include:

  • shafts and bores fitted for bearings,
  • connections requiring tight fits,
  • external and internal angular grinding,
  • angular templates used as reference elements for calibration.

Different types of grinding

We offer several types of grinding, tailored to the project’s requirements:

  • shaft and bore grinding – Ensures high fitting accuracy, ideal for rotating components.
  • surface grinding – Achieves a flat and smooth surface without the need for prior leveling of the part.
  • carousel grinding – Perfect for large ring-shaped surfaces or components mounted on a carousel table.

Each process is carried out in compliance with strict quality standards, ensuring repeatability, precision, and adherence to technical documentation.

Why choose TOOLE?

  1. We combine the practical expertise of our operators with the capabilities of top-class machines. This ensures maximum precision and process stability — regardless of the complexity of the part.
  2. We complete orders within short deadlines, providing comprehensive documentation — from measurement reports to quality certificates. Every stage of production is monitored, guaranteeing repeatability and compliance with client requirements.
  3. We select technology, parameters, and tools optimally for each specific order. We support our clients in choosing solutions that reduce lead times and costs without compromising on quality.

We make order fulfillment as simple and predictable as possible. That's why we follow a clear workflow:

1.

Data submission

At the start, you provide us with technical drawings, a sample part, or general technological assumptions. If needed, we visit your facility to gather dimensions and detailed information essential for completing the project.

2.

Technical documentation, quotation and order

Next, our engineers prepare the technical documentation, which you receive for approval. Once approved, we provide you with a detailed quotation and scope of work. After you accept the offer and send your order via email, we begin the production process.

3.

Order fulfillment

Your order is entered into our production system. We create a production guide, procure the necessary materials, and pass the project to the production department. There, the component is manufactured precisely according to the agreed specifications.

4.

Quality control and shipping

The finished component undergoes a thorough quality control process. Once completed, we notify you that the work is finished. We issue the necessary documents and arrange the delivery method – you can either pick up the order in person or have it shipped to you.
