Shaft and bore surface grinding

Shaft and bore grinding is one of the most demanding precision machining methods, enabling the achievement of perfect smoothness, coaxiality, and dimensional accuracy of components. This process is essential in the production of parts that operate in rotational motion or require tight, fitted connections—such as shafts, bushings, rings, or bearing seats.

At TOOLE, we combine the extensive experience of our operators with a modern machinery fleet, allowing us to execute even the most challenging projects while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Technological capabilities

We offer a wide range of machining services, including grinding bores from Ø3 mm to Ø300 mm, as well as shafts of various lengths and diameters.

We work with machines from renowned manufacturers such as:

  • JOTES (Poland)
  • STUDER (Switzerland)
  • SCHAUDT (Germany)

This ensures precision and reliability throughout the process.

We grind all types of materials, including:

  • structural and tool steels,
  • non-ferrous metal alloys (bronze, brass, aluminum),
  • technical plastics.

Advanced grinding expertise

Our team consists of experienced grinders with years of practice, skilled in selecting optimal machining parameters, grinding wheel types, and cooling technologies to achieve the required tolerances and surface roughness.

This expertise enables us to produce components requiring tight fits for bearings, as well as precise axial and angular connections. We also perform internal and external angular grinding, allowing for comprehensive preparation of components for assembly.

Grinding of gauges and calibration Parts

We also specialize in the production of angular gauges and calibration components, which serve as reference parts in quality control and measurement processes.

Each component is crafted with the highest precision and can be delivered with a measurement report or a certificate of compliance.

Why entrust shaft and bore grinding to TOOLE?

  1. Our grinders are old-school craftsmen who master all the technological nuances of the process.
  2. We achieve tolerances in the micron range, ensuring perfect fits for bearings and other precision connections.
  3. From small bores (Ø3 mm) to large components (Ø300 mm), we handle a wide variety of sizes.
  4. We grind hardened steels, soft metal alloys, and even technical plastics to meet diverse needs.

We make order fulfillment as simple and predictable as possible. That's why we follow a clear workflow:

1.

Data submission

At the start, you provide us with technical drawings, a sample part, or general technological assumptions. If needed, we visit your facility to gather dimensions and detailed information essential for completing the project.

2.

Technical documentation, quotation and order

Next, our engineers prepare the technical documentation, which you receive for approval. Once approved, we provide you with a detailed quotation and scope of work. After you accept the offer and send your order via email, we begin the production process.

3.

Order fulfillment

Your order is entered into our production system. We create a production guide, procure the necessary materials, and pass the project to the production department. There, the component is manufactured precisely according to the agreed specifications.

4.

Quality control and shipping

The finished component undergoes a thorough quality control process. Once completed, we notify you that the work is finished. We issue the necessary documents and arrange the delivery method – you can either pick up the order in person or have it shipped to you.
